My book. Soon to be more than one book hopefully... :) Not able to publish any of these, but they're fun to write, and I hope you enjoy them! Amy Blythe is my author name. (:
they're like normal 9.5x11 pages, but I typed out a page of a REAL Warriors book, and it takes EXACTLY the same amount of space as mine. :3 Well, actually, not exactly... mine are one line longer XD
OK lol :b By the way, please can you take the link to my story blog off (because it won't work anymore as I made my story blog only for my friends to look at...). The story blog I'm keeping for everyone is my Warriors one, so you can link to that if you like :D
I didn't take it down very quickly. I think yours was up for close to two months. I liked it, SilverDawn! I change my header a LOT. This one probably won't be up for long either.
1. Is ShadowClan bad or not? 2. If there's a Medicine Cat Apprentice who reaches the age to become a Warrior but the current Med Cat doesn't want to retire, then what happens? 3. Do all apprentices of the same age become Warriors at the same time? 4. Can a cat mate, have kits, et cetera, and then become a Med Cat after their mate dies?
1) They're not bad, just kinda more prickly than the others. ;) Sometimes they're sneakier, and a bit more secretive, so people think of them as bad or mean, but I think they're just misunderstood. :)
2) Then there are two medicine cats! :D The more the merrier! ;) That actually has happened several times throughout Erin Hunter's series. Leafpool and Jayfeather, for example. They were both medicine cats at the same time! :)
3) Not neccessarily. Sometimes there are special cases where an act of bravery or loyalty has proven an apprentice ready to become a warrior, and they will move on before the others their age. This happened with Thistleclaw. He was made a warrrior before his littermates. Also, a cat may be held back by illness, punishment, or some other weakness and won't receive their warrior name until their mentor and the leader are certain they are ready.
4) Umm I think so.. I don't think that their mate would have to die, though. But I'm really not sure. Some cats do decide to become a medicine cat after having served as a warrior in the case of Yellowfang and Mudfur. They both decided as warriors to switch to being a medicine cat. Yellowfang had to give up her mate, and I'm really not sure if Mudfur had one or not.. I think he did, though.
OK thanks, that did help :3 Also, can two apprentices mate, or do they have to wait until they're warriors? And when clan cats mate, do they just mate, or is there some special ceremony or something?
Apprentices' mating is very uncommon, and NOT recommended... Apprentices are to focus on their training, and not having a mate at that time.
When Clan cats mate, it is very un-ceremonious. A she-cat may mate with several toms, and may choose not to reveal the father of her kits. At the same time, a tom may have more than one female that he has had kits with... not much like humans, or at least the way humans OUGHT to be... I wish cats were always faithful to each other...
An apprentice can train as a medicine cat, but then decide to train as a warrior. But I don't think that it could ever become a Med Cat later in life unless it were absolutely necessary or a sign from StarClan had been given or something like that. Ordinarily, though, cats continue in the training that they choose. But there are always exceptions. Almost every single rule in the Warrior Code has been broken at least once in the series... lol
OK... so they do do it sometimes? Oh, it's natural for cats to not be "faithful" to each other :b Humbug, Treacle and Malteser all had different fathers :b OK! :3
Thanks a lot! :D
PS. If you're wondering why I'm doing this on a non-Wednesday it's because story research doesn't count :b
What page setup do you use on your word document? :b I mean, are they book-sized pages, or A4 pages or what? :b

Oh, and can an apprentice train as an Apprentice Med Cat but then become an ordinary Warrior, but later on in its life become a Med Cat?
